Incredible news: Israel is now living securely in her land without walls, bars or gates! (Who knew?)

According to the many modern day prophecy gurus, you should not believe your lying eyes – or all the news you are getting about the situation in Israel and the middle east. What is going on now is the fulfillment of Ezekiel’s prophecy in the 38th-39th  chapters of his book. Here are Ezekiel’s exact words to describe the setting in Israel defining the time when this Gog/Magog prophecy will be fulfilled:

“…they are living securely, all of them.” (38:8d)

and you will say, ‘I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will go against those who are at rest, who live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates,” (38:11)

Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says: “On that day when My people Israel are living securely, will you not know it?” (38:14)

Do you think you can find one soul living in Israel today that feels secure, and believes this prophesy is describing their current situation?

Not only that, but according to this prophecy this current conflict will be resolved by divine intervention:

22With plague and with blood I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, a torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23So I will prove Myself great, show Myself holy, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the LORD.”

6And I will send fire upon Magog and those who inhabit the coastlands in safety; and they will know that I am the LORD.” (39:6)

Furthermore, it will be the end of all defamation of God’s name, the end of all of Israel’s enemies (how cool is that?):

7And I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel; and I will not allow My holy name to be profaned anymore. But the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.

That’s not all, but once this current Gog/Magog war in the middle east is miraculously resolved by divine intervention, Israel will be once for all whole heartedly committed to God with His Spirit poured out on them:

22And the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God, from that day onward.” (39:22)

26They will forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they live securely on their own land with no one to make them afraid. 27When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall show Myself holy through them in the sight of the many nations.” (39:26-27)

29I will not hide My face from them any longer, for I will have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,” declares the Lord GOD.” (39:29)

Question: Isn’t there a 7-year Tribulation Period next on the prophetic calendar? If this current Middle East conflict is fulfillment of Ezekiel’s  Gog/Magog prophecy, what is that going to be all about? Will Israel’s enemies have all been destroyed, and she will be faithful to her God living securely in her land, and no one will ever again be profaning God’s name – what about the Dispensationalists’ doctrine that the whole period is only about God dealing with His people Israel (the church being gone), and what about the Antichrist and the Beasts and the False Prophet?

I must be missing something Here – can anyone explain it for me?

I may be going out on a limb here, but I will take my chances and predict that this conflict will not fulfill these prophecies anymore than the previous wars Israel has had to fight, and these modern-day prophets now saying it is fulfillment of Ezekiel 38-39 will be finding ways to deny that they ever made such foolish declarations – which will be nothing new.

I find that the inspired prophet John gives us the answer which will prove to be true, despite the absurd protestations of many very knowledgeable and sincere men – if you can let scripture interpret scripture – see Revelation 20:7-9 (but what do I know?).
