The Megaliths
There are in many ancient sites around the world which are considered “wonders”, not natural wonders but obviously products of intelligent beings. For many of these we have no records in our annals of recorded history, or at least no records that adequately explain the phenomena we observe. These are known as “megaliths”, one of the most well-known being Stonehenge in England (depicted below).

There are Reportedly there are more than 35,000 like Stonehenge, which have been identified across Europe , though the most impressive may be in South America. Alberino cites several of these in some of his videos, which he maintains can only be explained by his theories about the very ancient, very advanced civilizations which must have inhabited the earth before the biblical account of the creation featuring Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. According to his theories these earlier earth dwellers had to be far more intelligent and technologically advanced than humans today, at least the earliest humans we know of, to be able to accomplish these feats, especially with respect to the advanced knowledge of mathematics, geometry, and engineering required to build the megalithic structures and whole communities. Specifically he goes to three of them in his YouTube video, “Timothy Alberino: Megalithic Technology & Giants of Peru” (https://youtu.be/LZi7TU6RfU0?si=B_dzslRbPv4wDlED), Ollantaytanbo (“the most exquisite”), Sacsayhuaman (the most “jaw-dropping enormity”), Machu Picchu (the most “picturesque beauty”). There he makes the following declarations:
“The most impressive feature of megaliths, true megaliths, is not the size of the stones, large megalithic sized stones can be moved by primitive people, and they are, even to this day, they can. And in precisely the manner archeologist say … cutting the stones and assembling the stones the way that they do, that’s … now you’re talking about mathematics, now you’re talking about engineering, now you’re talking about science. … what is most astounding about the megaliths … is the anti-seismic properties of those walls. … That is ancient knowledge that even surpasses our ability today to build stone walls, now we can build skyscrapers and stuff, I’m talking about masonry… to build stone walls that would last that long, … subject to that much seismic activity, and yet still pristine, that’s what we need to think about when we look at these megaliths. ”
From this he goes into the mythologies of the giants, which some of the Peruvian tribes in the area credit for building these megaliths. According to him, they believe that these giants were the offspring of the gods, and were destroyed in the flood. At this point already a dose of critical thinking is called for. First, does it really make sense that these huge stones could be moved and stacked even by men who were a little bigger than normal humans, even if they were twice as tall, and twice as strong. That would do very little to explain how these megaliths could have been built. However, Alberino himself has just emphatically made the point that its not the size of the stones that are the issue, contrary to what most people would think, but the amazing knowledge and engineering skills required.
Nothing we know about giantism would have helped in that regard. Of course Alberino’s answer to that is that it is not just giants, but a very advanced race of beings, far more intelligent and technologically advanced than humans today, which came from other worlds (he actually even posits Mars), i.e. extraterrestrials, from what he calls “the elder race”. Their superiority has to do with being themselves gods, the biblical Elohim, or demigods, offspring of the Nephilim, which are the offspring of the Angels having sex with women, as per Genesis 6:4. According to his logic, this is necessary to get these amazing megalithic structures, which are thus strong evidence for the reality of their existence.
A second consideration for the critical thinker, is that it is very likely that the mega size of the stones has a lot do with their survival of earthquakes, more that the precision or engineering of their construction. One to two ton stones. but certainly 20 tons stones, even when stacked together very often remain relatively unmoved by most earthquakes – especially if they are so well cut and fit together as these stones are. It is also not true that all the more common stone structures get demolished by earthquakes, as the lower larger stones in the walls tend to survive, and it’s the upper stones, and the roofs that fall down, especially when lumber (or logs) is used in the construction. It is also not true that in the case of these megaliths he refers to, no damage was done in most cases by previous seismic and other activity. In fact, one of the points he makes is that there is often a lot of building on the lower megalithic stones using smaller stones, to repair the damage that had been done to those structures, probably by the earthquakes.
Another feature that is true of many if not most of these megalithic structures is that they are actually in part supported by banks of earth on one side. This would actually help to explain both how they would have been built (no need to lift the stones to stack them), and why they would not have fallen down in an earthquake. It is actually somewhat ironic that it is this very feature of earthen banking on one side of the wall that Alberino gives as the reason for considering the Sage Wall megalith in Montana as being more likely natural than man-made (see “NATURAL or MANMADE? Impossible Ancient Ruins Uncovered in North America? Sage Wall Montana Megaliths” (https://youtu.be/pZ6FkRV5IXM?si=J-0wmvo7t4tSFTQa)).
With respect to his contention that such megalithic structures, as for example Sacsayhuaman and Machu Picchu in Peru, are evidence of his Nephilim theories, requiring the superhuman intelligence of space aliens or extraterrestrials, other scientists have studied them and come to very different conclusions. Before one naively accepts Alberino’s analysis and theoretical explanations which may sound so convincing, it would be much wiser to consider the findings and explanations of other sources, actual scientists, which may be more objective, less driven by an agenda. One of the best is the YouTube video “Peru’s Greatest Mystery Finally Solved – Megalithic Ruins No Human Could Ever Build” (https://youtu.be/tr6qS6PJoD8?si=s80x47qbIIYCDfvd). The title is a little misleading considering the conclusions. After considering some of the same myths and legends Alberino cites to support his theory, these researchers come to the following conclusions:
“The science is in early stages, but the patterns are there, waiting to be explained. Importantly, none of these theories require aliens, magic, or science fiction. They point instead to a simpler but more profound idea: that human history is deeper and more complex than we’ve been taught. That advanced knowledge isn’t always accompanied by skyscrapers or electricity. Sometimes, it hides in plain sight, etched in stone, misunderstood, and ignored. If these builders weren’t primitive, and their methods weren’t impossible, then maybe it’s not the ruins that are mysterious. Maybe it’s our understanding that’s incomplete.”
These scientists have made very informative and relevant discoveries which provide natural explanation for the phenomenon without invoking the supernatural, mysterious, or magic, of the Nephilim conspirators like Alberino. Some of his realizations are on track, that our widely held beliefs about our historic ancestors, largely influenced by the prevalence of the theories of Evolution based on Naturalism, and the presupposition that history is linear, are wrong as these megaliths are revealing. But his imaginary explanations and theories invoking extraterrestrial demigods, based largely on mythology, are not supported by the best interpretations of the actual evidence – including the Megaliths.
